Photos & Description

Items may appear larger or smaller than in real life. Sizes are listed in the item's description. All items are estimates and are done at maximum size.

Item Age

It is often hard to judge when an estate item may have been made. If we make no claim as to the age of an item, please do not make any assumptions. Please feel free to email for an age estimate, & we will do our best to judge for you. We describe old, unsold, wholesale, or store stock as NBW. Many of these items are very hard to date without knowledge of the manufacturer. We describe all items currently in production & current wholesalers as NEW

We try very hard to keep the naming conventions straight & clean because no one (including us), wants to misrepresent. It is often difficult to tell on older pieces, but when we bug new merchandise from manufacturers, it is certainly easy to tell what is currently in production. Those items which are currently being produced, we list as NEW. If a NEW item is done in an Art Deco Style, we list it as "New Art Deco Style".

Information About Our Offers!

We endeavor to only offer items of Very Good and better quality. If we offer pieces of lesser quality it is because we feel they represent an excellent example of design or example of a particular designer's work or we feel it would be great to use as parts for craft projects. We do not clean any of the jewelry which we offer. It affects the value of the piece, and most costume pieces need careful handling to be cleaned. We do not consider tarnish to be a flaw in sterling it is a naturally occurring phenomenon which can be easily cleaned. Sterling can be cleaned with a silver polish or cloth, and costume jewelry can be quickly cleaned with a Q-tip & alcohol, any more cleaning that may be needed than that will be mentioned. Most of the jewelry we offer is described as very good or excellent, we try to grade item lower than they deserve so that you will be satisfied when you see the piece. We evaluate TONS of jewelry. We do make mistakes. If you are not happy with your purchase be sure and let us know as soon as possible and feel free to take advantage of our return policy.

Plastics

If no mold line is visible, and the item does not test at bakelite, we describe the item as Lucite or acrylic (for later plastics). Plastics with mold lines are described as plastic or hard plastic. All listings for bakelite-type material include information regarding how the item tests positive. We use 409, Simichrome, & hot water as tests. We will inform you as to which test the item passes.

Sometimes we make mistakes, but we try our best to make amends for them!
